This week’s sermons highlighted Jesus’ constant presence and understanding of our emotional state. Michael Brown shared the story of Zacchaeus to illustrate how Jesus seeks to transform our lives. Tanner discussed the Last Supper as a preparation for Jesus’ crucifixion, comparing Jesus’ sacrificial care for us to a scene from “The Lion King.” Robinson emphasized that Jesus walks alongside us, even in difficult times, as seen in the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Finally, Pastor Tim provided a summary of what we’ve learned in the series of sermons titled “Table Talk.”
