Terry & Anita Mahan

Founding Pastors

Terry Mahan is the Founding, Senior Pastor of The Father’s House, a contemporary, nondenominational, and multi-racial congregation. He and his wife Anita moved to Lake County in 1996 to pioneer a new church that believes in the potential of people to fulfill their God-given destiny. Terry is a graduate of Southern Illinois University & Regent University. He has ministered in over 70 nations and is a professor with Christian Life School of Theology.

Pastor Terry is ordained by Rick Godwin of Summit Christian Center in San Antonio, Texas. Rick says of Pastor Terry, “He is a faithful man who has demonstrated unfailing integrity in all aspects of his life and ministry.”

Pastor Terry’s teaching focuses on how to apply the Word in your every day life so you can experience the incredible destiny God has planned for you. His passion is to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus!

Pastor Anita Mahan grew up attending the Catholic Church and was born again at the age of 30. She met and married Terry Mahan in 1991, and moved to Leesburg in 1996 where they co-founded The Father’s House. Pastor Anita was ordained for ministry by The Father’s House in 1999.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from FSU, and is the founder of the Sisterhood Women’s Ministry at TFH.

Anita enjoys spending time with her family, riding her motorcycle, and playing golf.
