Christine was born in and raised in Leesburg, FL. She is one of 5 children and has a large family presence here in the surrounding community. She and her family attended Leesburg First Assembly (now known as LIFE Assembly) in Fruitland Park.
Her senior year of high school was spent in Thomasville, GA, where she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. She entered Boot Camp in Parris Island, SC after graduation and was stationed in Cherry Point, NC.
Her family life brought her back home after military service of 4 years, but she was reactivated following the events of 9/11/2001. During that time she was serving security at the Presidential Helicopter Squadron HMX-1.
Her career path after that was mostly administrative/customer service until 2008 when she entered cosmetology. She worked in that industry for 10 years, with 4 of those years teaching, 1 year as the office manager for a multi-salon/school company, and yet another year as their Front Desk Support in their largest location. Those years of leading, teaching, and supportive roles fit naturally into what she feels are some of her called areas of ministry.
She and her children began attending TFH in March of 2013. She became a covenant partner in 2015, and after completing CR, she attended Growth Track and became a volunteer in the Front of House area as Check in, House Party event team, Resource Center, and many other areas. She was part of our 2019 Missions trip to Honduras. Upon her return she took her place on staff and also hosted her first Life Group.
Throughout the trials she has endured, the foundation of faith she grew up with kept her strong. The encouragement of her family and life lessons from her Uncle Phil Dunn who pastors in Charleston, WVA have always been vital to her life. She is a mother of 4 children and Grammy to 1 beautiful granddaughter.
