SUPERNATURAL FILLING

But I promise you this – the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power.  Acts 1:8a (TPT)

Three Baptisms

1 Now is the time for us to progress beyond the basic message of Christ and advance into perfection. The foundation has already been laid for us to build upon: turning away from our dead works to embrace faith in God, 2 teaching about different baptisms, impartation by the laying on of hands,  resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.  Hebrews 6:1-2 (TPT)

1. Baptized into the ___________________________ by __________________________________

For by one Spirit we all were immersed and mingled into one single body. And no matter our status – whether we are Jews or non-Jews, oppressed or free – we are all privileged to drink deeply of the same Holy Spirit.   1 Corinthians 12:13  (TPT)

3 During the forty days after He suffered and died, He appeared to the apostles from time to time, and He proved to them in many ways that He was actually alive. And He talked to them about the Kingdom of God. 4 Once when He was eating with them, He commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift He promised, as I told you before. 5 John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”  Acts 1:3-5  (NLT)

2. Baptized in ______________ by a _______________

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19 (NLT)

3. Baptized in the _________________ by _________

“I baptize with water those who repent of their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is greater than I am – so much greater that I’m not worthy even to be His slave and carry His sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” Matthew 3:11 (NLT)

“Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 (NLT)

Next Steps:

1. Remove ________________________________

38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away – all who have been called by the Lord our God.”
Acts 2:38-39 (NLT)

2. _________________ the gift of the Holy Spirit from Jesus

“So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.”   Luke 11:13  (NLT)

3. __________________ Him by ________________

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.  Hebrews 11:6  (NLT)

4. ________________ to Him every day

The amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.  2 Corinthians 13:14 (MSG)
