Now Do Something to Make a Difference

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 1 Corinthians 12:7 (NLT)

Spiritual gift –
A special _____________________________________ that God gives to each of His children so that together we can ______________ His purposes in this world.

1. ___________________ THE GIFTS GOD HAS FOR ME

In His grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. Romans 12:6 (NLT)

2. ___________________ THE GIFTS GOD HAS GIVEN ME

In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. Romans 12:4-5 (The Message)

10 God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? When we exercise our motivational gift through our ministry gifts the Holy Spirit determines what ________________________ (or effect) will most benefit the receiver.
