S3E3  I LOVE MY CHURCH
BY GIVING GENEROUSLY

WHY BE GENEROUS?

1. GOD PROMISES _______ WILL HAPPEN TO ME WHEN I’M GENEROUS

Good will come to the man who is ready to give much… Psalm 112:5 (NLV)

Blessed are those who are generous… Proverbs 22:9 (NLT)

2. GOD PROMISES MY CHILDREN WILL BE ____________, IF I LEARN HOW TO GIVE LIKE GOD GIVES

They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing. Psalm 37:26 (NIV)

3. GOD PROMISES HE WILL BLESS MY _____  & MY ____ IF I LEARN TO BE GENEROUS

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Proverbs 3:9,10 (NIV)

Give freely and spontaneously. Don’t have a stingy heart. The way you handle matters like this triggers God, your God’s, blessing in everything you do, all your work and ventures. Deuteronomy 15:10 (MSG)

4. GOD PROMISES THAT IF I LEARN TO BE GENEROUS, I WILL _________

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full – pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. Luke 6:38 (NLT)

Some people give freely and gain more; others refuse to give and end up with less. Proverbs 11:24 (ERV)

5.  GOD  PROMISES  THAT  IF  I  LEARN  TO  GIVE  LIKE  HIM,  HE  WILL _____________

I am not trying to get something from you, but I want you to receive the blessings that come from giving. Philippians 4:17 (CEV)

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (AMPC)

Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed. Proverbs 28:27 (NLT)

6. GOD PROMISES THAT IF I LEARN TO GIVE LIKE HE GIVES, HE WILL ______  WHAT I GIVE HIM

10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 (NLT)

Remember this a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NLT)

7. GOD PROMISES THAT MY GIVING IS ______ IN HEAVEN

19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:19-20 (NIV)

One-tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy. Leviticus 27:30 (NLT)

The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives. Deuteronomy 14:23 (TLB)

“Your heart will be wherever your treasure is.” Matthew 6:21 (NLT)
