Our Mission: Leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus

202WON
Where there is no vision, the people perish… Proverbs 29:18 (MEV)

Your Life’s Purpose:
To give glory to God and make Him known.

WHY YOU NEED TO SET LIFE GOALS!
1. GOAL SETTING IS A _____________________________

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14 (NIV)

2. GOALS STRETCH YOUR ________________

God can do anything, you know – far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us…. Ephesians 3:20-21 (MSG)

3. GOALS KEEP YOU ________________________

So I do not run without a goal. I fight like a boxer who is hitting something – not just the air. 1 Corinthians 9:26 (NCV)

4. GOOD GOALS WILL BE _____________________
All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 1 Corinthians 9:25 (NLT)

HOW DO I KNOW GOOD GOALS?
1. WILL THIS GOAL ___________ GOD?

You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God! 1 Corinthians 6:20 (TPT)

So, we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 2 Corinthians 5:9 (NIV)

2. IS THIS GOAL MOTIVATED BY ___________?

And do everything with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 (NLT)

Let love be your highest goal… 1 Corinthians 14:1 (NLT)

3. WILL THIS GOAL REQUIRE ___________ ON GOD?

We plan the way we want to live, but only God makes us able to live it. Proverbs 16:9 (MSG)

· I need God’s _____________ to ___________________ me.

Then he told me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘You will not succeed by your own strength or by your own power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord All-Powerful. Zechariah 4:6 (NCV)

· I need God’s ____________ to _______________ me.

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8 (NLT)

· I need God’s ________________ to ____________________ me.

By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped. Ecclesiastes 4:12 (MSG)
