SERIES: REVOLUTIONARY JESUS

Jesus The Revolutionary. That’s a strong word, and perhaps a word with which we are not totally comfortable. This series will help us to explore the revolutionary message of Jesus. We need to get back to Jesus and the heart of his message and mission. Never had anyone heard teaching with such authority. The Gospel of Mark contains some of the most revolutionary words of Jesus ever recorded. Jesus did not come to start a religion he came to start a revolution that would bring God’s glorious rule to a world that desperately needs it.

STAND ALONE SERMON: LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE

GUEST SPEAKER: PASTOR KEVIN GOFF

SERIES: PARABLES.

We all love stories. Ever since we were young. It’s the way we learn about who we are. So, is it any surprise that Jesus uses stories to teach His children? And Jesus’ stories are so compelling that they are known throughout the world, both in and out of church. Much more than entertainment, Jesus’ stories challenge all of us to continuously adjust our view of life, our thinking, and our way of living. For throughout the parables of Jesus, we are in fact being invited into a bigger story. (Re)Discovering His story.

SERIES: SERMON ON THE MOUNT

In His most famous sermon—the Sermon on the Mount—Jesus describes how living as part of His Kingdom is totally “upside down” compared to living by the world’s system. How we think about life, prayer, our relationship with God and others—it’s all totally different than what we’ve been conditioned to think. This series takes a close look at the Sermon on the Mount and shows us how to live in “The Upside Down” world Jesus calls us to!
