Lisa’s journey began when her family relocated to Leesburg from southern Indiana in 1969. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1983 and continued her education at Lake-Sumter Community College, earning her degree in 1985. Eager to pursue her passion for business, Lisa then moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida.
In the fall of 1985, fate intervened when Lisa went on a blind date with JR. Just three months later, he proposed, and they exchanged vows in November 1986, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership.
Amidst raising their two sons, Lisa embarked on a series of career endeavors, each contributing to her skill set and paving the way for her current roles at TFH. In September 14, 2015, Lisa seized the opportunity to bring her dream of a full-time position in ministry to fruition by spearheading the opening of KidCity Learning Center in our Impact Center. Her dedication and passion drive her relentless pursuit of excellence, aiming to make KCLC the premier learning center in our community.
Beyond her professional commitments, Lisa and JR have made their home in Fruitland Park, where they delight in spending quality time with their family, particularly their five cherished grandchildren.
In addition to her roles at KidCity Learning Center, Lisa is deeply involved in serving her community. She serves as the TFH Kids Preschool Director, providing nurturing guidance to young minds. She also leads TFH’s Family Ministry, fostering spiritual growth and familial bonds. Furthermore, Lisa is actively engaged in TFH’s Community Outreach initiatives, aiming to make a positive impact beyond the confines of the learning center.
Lisa’s journey is marked by a steadfast commitment to service, growth, and community building. Her story is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance in pursuing one’s dreams and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
