Colette White
Colette was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated from The University of Toledo in Elementary Education specializing in early childhood. She met her husband, Doug, while a senior in college in 1985. They married in 1988 in her Michigan hometown.
After marriage they ventured off to follow Doug’s career path in the oil and gas industry. That allowed her to teach and mold minds in many states including Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Texas. While in Texas they were fortunate to attend Lakewood Church and were born again.
They decided to move to Florida upon retirement and used Joel Osteen’s app to find a Bible-based church which led them to TFH in 2019.
Colette’s passion for shopping brought her to the church’s resource center, where she began buying “church merch” and serving regularly. Now, as a staff member, she directs that enthusiasm into selecting items that spread God’s love throughout the TFH family and community.
