 2. DON’T ______ YOUR JOY

8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:8-11 (NKJV)

“No one lights a lamp, then hides it in a drawer. It’s put on a lamp stand so those entering the room have light to see where they’re going. Your eye is a lamp, lighting up your whole body. If you live wide-eyed in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a musty cellar. Keep your eyes open, your lamp burning, so you don’t get musty and murky. Keep your life as well-lighted as your best-lighted room.” Luke 11:33-36 (The Message)

For the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 (NKJV)

3. DON’T BE A _______

But Jesus intervened: “Let the children alone, don’t prevent them from coming to me. God’s kingdom is made up of people like these.” After laying hands on them, He left. Matthew 19:13-15 (The Message)

WHEN YOUR LIFE IS OVER WILL ANYONE REMEMBER HAVING A _______ WITH YOU?

4. KEEP _____ CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT BELIEVING

Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29 (EHV)
