GIFTS OF INSPIRATION

HOW DO I SEE TFH?
We are a _______________ and _______________ Church. That means we are committed to the functional authority of the bible and to the effective, Christ exalting operation of all the Gifts of God.
We a church of born-again, Spirit led believers – followers of Jesus, who maintain a high view of discovering and fulfilling our individual destiny, who are intolerant of manipulative excess and self-serving fanaticism, yet who also desire spiritual gifts, we delight in praying for the sick, and prophesying to the edification, encouragement, of other believers and experiencing the Spiritual Prayer Language that God grants each Spirit Filled believer. We are bible grounded followers of Christ who are open and hungry for all that God has for us.
OUR MISSION:
WE ARE BRINGING HOPE AND IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY BY LEADING PEOPLE INTO A GROWING RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS.
(We want to make heaven bigger and the Kingdom of God better!)

THE REVELATION GIFTS:
These gifts operate primarily in the realm of the intellect. They are understanding gifts which produce insight into revealed truth, and which convey the mind of God (God’s thoughts)
• Word of Knowledge
• Word of Wisdom
• Discerning of spirits
THE POWER GIFTS:
• Gift of Faith
• Gifts Healings
• Working of Miracles
THE INSPIRATION GIFTS:
“And to another the gift of prophecy… And to another the gift of speaking different kinds of tongues And to another the gift of interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:10 (TPT)
1. UNDERSTAND THE GIFT OF PROPHECY:
“a message of __________________________ from God, delivered through a human vessel, to another person or persons.”
But when someone prophesies, he speaks to encourage people, to build them up, and to bring them comfort. 1 Corinthians 14:3 (TPT)
It is good that you are enthusiastic and passionate about spiritual gifts, especially prophecy. 1 Corinthians 14:1 (TPT)
2. DON’T DESPISE, BUT _____________ PROPHECIES
Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 (NKJV)
Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. 1 Corinthians 14:29 (NKJV)
Does it build up and encourage or does it tear down and create disunity fear, doubt and self-contempt?
Does the word have a tendency to encourage?
Does the word have a tendency to bring comfort, or does it lead to despair?
