In the same way, even though we are many individuals, Christ makes us one body and individuals who are connected to each other. Romans 12:5 (GW)

WHY CONNECT ON PURPOSE?

1. WE ARE _________ TO CONNECT

4 Our bodies have many parts, but these parts don’t all do the same thing. 5 In the same way, even though we are many individuals, Christ makes us one body and individuals who are connected to each other. Romans 12:4-5 (GW)

2. WE _____ OUR FIT

Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? Romans 12:4,5 (MSG)

3. WE ARE _____________

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. Ephesians 4:16 (NLT)

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:25 (NLT)
