Tongues:
Power for Praying & Praising in the Spirit
“5 John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”… 8a But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you….” Acts 1:5,8a (NKJV)

1. DO WE HAVE GOOD BIBLICAL REASONS TO BELIEVE THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE __________________ FOR TODAY?

The primary purpose of speaking in tongues is addressed to God (whether it be in praise or prayer). 1 Corinthians 14:2, 14

4. ARE TONGUES ALWAYS _______________ LANGUAGES?

Tongues may be human languages never before learned by the speaker. They may also be angelic dialects or unique linguistic utterances shaped specially by the Spirit and distributed to believers according to the will of God.

5. WHAT DOES PAUL SAY IS THE ________________ OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES?
