Nichole Cottom

Administrative Assistant

Nichole’s family moved from Michigan to Florida in 1982 and has lived in the Leesburg area ever since. She graduated from Leesburg High School 1990 and was married in 1994 which later ended in a divorce. In 2003, as a single mother, she received her AAS in Business Administration from Lake Sumter State College while working full time. Nichole worked in the construction industry for 15+ years. And then for Lake County School Board as the Fruitland Park Elementary Family School Liaison 4 years.

On Halloween night 2003 she met her amazing husband Hutch Cottom at a church Fall Festival. He and his two children, Kile and McKenzie became instantly connected to Nichole and her two children, Darian and Dallis. After just six short months Hutch and Nichole were married on May 16, 2004 and on April 18, 2005 they welcomed their daughter Graycie who is the piece that would forever link their once, two separate families together as one HUGE blended family. Hutch and Nichole also own and operate Cottom’s A-1 Sod and Cottom’s Total Lawn Care.

Nichole and her family attended Family Bible Church of Eustis for 29 years. At the same time Hutch and his family had attended First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Following the departure of the Lead Pastors of both churches, Hutch and Nichole felt the Lord moving them to a church that continued to feed their spirit as well as help their children continue to learn more about God and the love he has for them. In the fall of 2014 they visited The Father’s House and after the first song, both they and their children knew this was their new “Home” church. Their children look forward to being in church on Sundays. They really LOVE Studio 66, Grapple, and Epic Youth.

On June 8, 2015 Nichole became the Administrative Assistant to the Life Development Pastor of The Father’s House. She wears several hats, but is always willing to help those who need her.

Nichole is very passionate about raising her five children to be respectful and successful young adults. As the Fruitland Park Elementary iMOM Team Leader, Nichole uses bible based teachings to help empower other mother’s to do the same.

Her favorite verse, the verse she believes helps maneuver her through all the avenues her life takes her on, is Philippians 4:13 (Amplified version) “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me (I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I AM self-sufficient (enough) in Christ’s sufficiency).
